Fancy, Carolan! is a fantasy on tunes attributed to
Irish harpist Turlough O'Carolan (1670-1738). The three
tunes Carolan's Planxty, Lady Wrixon and Carolan's Draught
were sourced from The Complete Collection of Irish Music by
George Petrie (1789-1866). That work was edited by Charles
Villiers Stanford and published in three volumes (1902-1905)
by Boosey and Hawkes.
