My style lies somewhere between spontaneous and formal modalities, experimental, contemporary, often exploring uncommon or extended instrumental techniques, drawing from my own instrumental practice as a contrabass guitarist. My inspiration varies from piece to piece. Often my work attempts to push back against something: an injustice, a blind spot, a trope etc. At the moment I'm exploring how various tuning systems can be applied to my solo practice, and across ensembles and orchestras!
