Infant Holy, Infant Lowly (W Żłobie Leży) is a traditional Polish Christmas Carol.
This work was done in response to an invitation by the Australian Youth Orchestra management to contribute to a recording for CD of arrangements of traditional and Australian Christmas carols by Australian composers. This CD “Christmas Under Capricorn”, conducted by Graham Abbott, contains arrangements by 19 Australian composers. It was recorded in 1992 and released on the Tall Poppies label TP016. The other composers who were invited were Anne Boyd; Brenton Broadstock; Nigel Butterley; Tristram Cary; Judith Clingan; Barry Conyngham; Ross Edwards; Andrew Ford; Moya Henderson; Donald Hollier; Gordon Kerry; Richard Mills; Andrew Schultz; Peter Sculthorpe; Larry Sitsky; Carl Vine; Gillian Whitehead and William G James with Trevor Pearce.
