My musical style reflects the diversity of my training and professional experience. My main influences are classical music, the improvisational language of American jazz and music from South and Central America. I am a great believer in the enduring importance of melody. My harmonic language based in jazz, which is itself based in the harmonic innovations of such composers as Debussy, Fauré and Ravel.
